Virtual Technology Centre Incorporated offer Training
A team representing the Virtual Technology Centre Incorporated, made an exploratory visit to the Accreditation Unit/National Accreditation Board. The visit was made on Thursday, 21st February, 2019. The team presented a proposal for VCT-TVET Training Programmes in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The officers in the team indicated that their training is distinguished from their competitors based on the fact that they offer high quality telecommunications, IT and business courses which are a strategic blend of theoretical and practical, personalized environment and internationally recognized quality assured training courses. The visiting team indicated that all the courses will be delivered in a small classroom setting and will be administered by qualified local trainers who are leaders in industry to ensure that participants receive the best individualised attention.
Some of the courses to be delivered are; introduction to CCTV, Security Surveillance, IP Camera IP Installation and Maintenance, Understanding Alarm Systems, Laptop and IPAD Repairs and Basic Electronics among others.
There would be follow up meetings in order to ensure the proposed facility meets all local requirements before Vincentians will be able to benefit from the opportunities they hope to provide.
Ministry of Education officials: Mr. Kenroy Questelles - Director of the National Qualifications Department, Mrs. Eslyn Thomas - Senior Education Officer responsible for Assessment and Quality Assurance, and Mrs. Descima Hamilton - Administrative Officer and Senior Education Officer in the Accreditation Unit all participated in the deliberations.
