The series of activities intended to observe World Accreditation Day 2019 came to an end on Friday 5th July at the Accreditation Unit. The end of these activities was marked with the presentation of a cheque to Mr. Kendol Williams of the Reprographic Unit in the Ministry of Education. Mr. Williams received a cheque for S100.00 for correctly answering relating to the services of the National Accreditation Board and the Accreditation Unit.
Over 150 persons in the Ministry of Education were given the opportunity to both learn about the services offered by the National Accreditation Board and the Accreditation Unit and to participate in a quiz.
The period of activity began on May 30th when secondary school students were given the opportunity to become informed about the prevalence of Diploma Mills and how to avoid becoming entrapped by these Diploma Mills.
Three business places were supportive in the observation of World Accreditation Day this year and provided the public with informational flyers on the services of the National Accreditation Board. The business places which supported the observation of World Accreditation Day activities are the Teachers Credit Union, the Central Water and Sewage Authority as well Vinlec.
