Relocation Notice: The Accreditation Unit is now located on the First Floor of the Medix Building, Grenville Street, Kingstown. The Staff at the Accreditation Unit deeply regrets any inconvenience which may result from the relocation of the office.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is a multi-island nation state which belongs to a geo-political grouping known as the Windward Islands. The state shares a common history with the rest of its neighbours of conquest and settlement by the European powers but eventually gained legal independence from the British in October of 1979.

Strides in academia have been many folds. The passage of the Further and Higher Education (Accreditation) Act Nos. 35 of 2006 is one example. The establishment of the National Accreditation Board (NAB) in 2008 and the efforts of the NAB to mainstream quality assurance in tertiary level education have been a protracted labour of love. Accordingly, we extend a warm welcome to all visitors to this site to partner with us. This partnership is necessary in building a culture of quality assured tertiary level education.

We wish therefore to inform you that a number of institutions may offer their services outside of the legal expectations of the Accreditation Act of 2006. It is your personal responsibility in this partnership to invest your academic resources with prudence. Encourage your colleagues to do the same as you enjoy navigating this site.
